Ali Ahmed Khan

Vice President – Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan

Ali Khan has built a rich career over the last thirty years, both within Pakistan as well as abroad, serving in top management positions in leading FMCG companies. He has to his credit, a strong track record of business turnaround and success, demonstrating strong leadership as CEO in Reckitt Benckiser Pakistan and Iffco Personal Care / Oleo UAE, as well as playing a key role in the success of Pakistan Tobacco Company and Pepsi Cola International as a member of the Management Team.

As Managing Director of FrieslandCampina Engro, Ali has led a strong transformation of the business, which has delivered strong top line and bottom line growth. He has brought sharp focus to the Company’s Purpose, driven by his his strong belief in delivering nutrition and safe dairy to the people of Pakistan, as well as growing livelihood and prosperity for the Country’s farmers. Under Ali’s leadership, the Company is prioritizing initiatives on diversity and inclusion, sustainability, and transparency in business conduct, whilst continuing to drive business results.

Ali is also a strong believer in developing talent, and in his tenure as MD of FCEPL, Pakistan has become a strong contributor to FrieslandCampina’s senior management pool of employees.

Ali Ata

Director Customer Supply Chain

Mr. Ata has 22 years of experience in Supply Chain and has several accolades under his belt. Having previously been represented by Unilever, Engro, Eximp Agri Products, Midas Safety and Mondelez International, he has built his career around the areas of Planning, HSE & Manufacturing Excellence. He completed his B.S. Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University, USA and worked there in operations, customer services and B2C Sales. With experience in Unilever Pakistan under operational and leadership roles within Supply Chain, Mr. Ata has diversified his career span starting from 2003 until 2008 wherein he moved to Unilever Asia’s regional headquarters in Singapore. There, Mr. Ata worked to drive operational excellence within manufacturing units in Asia, Africa, Australia, Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe as Regional Manufacturing Excellence Manager. His latest stint was at Mondelez International as Head of Manufacturing. He has been credited with developing turnaround strategies for operational excellence, continuous improvement and team building and his experience is priceless for FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited to move forward.

Imran Hussain

Finance and Strategy Supply Chain Director

Mr. Hussain has a strong background in FMCG’s in the areas of Finance, Supply Chain, Sales and Corporate Strategy, and as part of FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited, he is all set to utilize his strong leadership skills. He has previously been associated with Engro Fertilizers as CFO, and with Unilever in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Pakistan. Prior to joining FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited in March 2015, he occupied the position of CFO & Vice President Finance at Unilever. Mr. Hussain holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.

Syed Saud Ahmed Pasha

Director Corporate Affairs

An Agriculture graduate from the University of Agriculture in Faisalabad, Mr. Pasha was previously associated with Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited from 1995. Prior to this, he was with Fauji Fertilizers for 6 years, and led various roles in both organizations in the Marketing division. He is a pioneer member of the industry, and joined FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited in 2005. His commitment, passion and drive for the Company has enabled him to handle two key portfolios in Supply Chain and Corporate Affairs. Mr. Pasha is continuously providing invaluable insights in leading the company to win in the market, and we are proud to have him on board.

Faisal Razi

Director Marketing

Mr Faisal Razi is a seasoned marketer with roles in leading multinationals such as Fonterra, Reckitt Benckiser, Unilever and Philips. Over his career he has managed businesses across diverse FMCG categories from Foods to Home Care and Personal Care across Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan. He brings in a results-driven approach towards brand-building, topline growth and overall P&L management which has helped him share the success the company has achieved over the last 2 years. Mr Faisal Razi holds an MBA degree from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi and has been associated with Friesland Campina Engro Pakistan since January 2018.

Ali Tanveer Khan

Director Sales Pakistan

Mr. Khan joins FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited with a 24 years’ experience in top Sales Leadership roles across the country and abroad. He has been turning around businesses and leading them towards industry leadership effortlessly. Some examples of these businesses are Frito Lays Pakistan and Thai Pepsi and their success is credited to him as true turnaround stories. Prior to joining FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited in April, 2018, he was the Head of Sales Transformation Pakistan & Afghanistan for PepsiCo International. Before that, he was the Head of Sales Pakistan & Afghanistan for Frito Lays. His experience and insights into industry leadership are invaluable to the Company, and we are keen to utilize and incorporate his experience at FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited.

Mudassar Cheema

Manufacturing Director

An Operations & Supply Chain Management professional, Mr. Mudassar joined FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited in December 2021. In his career spanning over two decades, Mr. Mudassar has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Unilever, Coca-Cola, Mondelez International and Nestle Waters Canada, in local and global markets in Asia, Middle East & North America. He has a history of transforming operations by focusing on zero loss performance management and a KPI driven culture to deliver continuous improvement through people, systems, and processes. Mr. Mudassar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from GIK Institute and a Master’s in Business Administration from State University of New York at Buffalo.

Muhammad Usman Abid

Director Human Resources

An Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) UK, Mr. Abid is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, USA, and a certified Hogan and MBTI practitioner. He has an MSc in HRM from the Queen Mary University of London, and an MBA from Pakistan. Mr. Abid is a strategic HR leader, and has experience in the field spanning over 13 years within Pakistan and the UK. He holds first-hand experience in leading cultural change, diversity & inclusion and managing employee/industrial relations in the companies he has been part of. Prior to joining FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan, Mr. Abid occupied several senior leadership roles at Unilever Pakistan, Telenor, PepsiCo and Mondelez International.

Muhammad Sohail Sarwar Chaudhary

Director Agri Business

Mr. Chaudhary has 16 years of experience in the agriculture and dairy sectors. As Head of Agri Business at FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan, he is leading FCEPL’s efforts in sustainable agriculture and dairy development to improve the landscape of the dairy industry in Pakistan. Prior to joining FCEPL, in March 2021, Mr. Chaudhary spent 15 years with Nestlé Pakistan, where he led multiple efficiency projects which contributed to the dairy sector in Pakistan. He holds a Master’s degree in Agriculture from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. He completed the Executive Certificate in Agribusiness Management (ECAM) from LUMS, Lahore.
